The Guinness Festival Clock on tour.
|
The "Guinness Festival Clock" was originally a 'one off' for the Festival of Britain 1951. It stood in the Battersea Pleasure gardens on the south bank of the Thames in London. It was such a success that eight smaller versions were built and taken around the country. This is a rare colour photograph (location unknown) of the clock in all its glory. |
